The Hir A Thoddaid is a Welsh poetry form. It is a 6-line stanza form. Lines 1-4 and 6 consist of 9-syllables and line 5 has 10-syllables. Lines 1-4 and 6 share an end rhyme. An internal rhyme falls near the end of line 5 and somewhere in the first half of line 6. This gives the following structure:
