Structure: Two quintains and a quatrain
Meter: Decasyllabic or pentameter
Rhyme Scheme: aabcc ddbee fggf

I treasured you; my heart became your host
With love declared yet you hurt me the most
Your eyes couldn’t see any good in me
My pain commenced with your glances of hate
But you said you loved me so I would wait

And where I failed I accepted your rage
You reminding me failure is my wage
I was nothing and not worthy to be
But I loved you and said that is okay
My destruction in being loved your way

But deep inside I knew this was no good
But still I took each emotional kick
Constant degradation making me sick
Love had to die or kill me if you could
