Form: Brisbane Sonnet

In gardens of beauty walks moonlight
I feel her presence on a gentle breeze
As I surrender to her sacred will
In pathways darkened by the mortal night
In supplication, I fall to my knees
And slowly lift my face upward until
I feel her loving beam of silver reflect
Inside me; her majesty on my breath
As I learn the wisdom within her ways
Beneath her lunar light, I shall respect
The mystery of life as found within death
My new-found voice at last chanting her praise
Ancient Mother once more I hear your call
To the lunar lady, I give my all
