Muddy Welly Boots

Childhood holidays, just me and my dog,
wet smelly dog and muddy welly boots,
a boot camp of life away from city fog,
lost in the fog we were hunting for coots,
little cootling ducks are dangerously wild,
in the wild back garden of a town child.
