Subject: Milk bottle tops

The raven smiles before the night dusky night skies
Shimmer and glisten with his lady’s silver light

His dark eyes watching for her rise into the sky
So high above the earth her glory lights the way

Shiny silver reflections on the rain soaked ground
And his chase begins yet he will never collect

For lunar reflections are not milk bottle tops
And cannot be gathered into his treetop nest
