A hidden purpose, a reason to dream
Releasing the past in a conscious stream
And open the door to a better way
Let go my heart, these things have naught to say
But leave my soul tied in an endless scream
It’s time to break the bonds and leave this theme
Of reliving the hurts that cannot stay
Invite in peace and let the senses feel
The here and now and not some long gone date
With long held fears making happiness wait
The future is here ready to reveal
The beauty of life when living it straight
