Concerto

Form: Ivorian Sonnet

When making love I hear sweet music play
A violin's lament from where we lay
A love song from the taut and teasing strings
That softly echoes a desiring sigh
Then grasp the air that our passion brings
The whispers of love vibrate in the ear
As hands touch the chorus of a love song
That wafted through the night to settle here
In tender moments of wanting so long
For love and music are magical things
When joined together in a bonded thong
That brings the senses to feel all that's near
In crescendos dance the passion's ballet
Two lovers breaking free to touch the sky
