Form: American Forte Sonnet
My love speaks loudest ‘neath the silent moon
In the paradise of night before dawn
With the sweet feelings of a rose in June
In the mystery of stars I’m drawn
My kisses as light as dew on the lawn
With lingering heat that says mine ‘til morn
In the cool of night there’s nothing to fear
But passion’s intent as it draws us near
Intent and wanting hidden in a tear
The tear your lips pluck from my dewy cheek
But the lust in my darkened eyes is clear
Yet in daylight hours you thought me so meek
For as night falls my desire starts to peak
Revealing the passion your pleasures seek
