Form: Alternating Sonnet 2
Since that day when we planted our love’s seed
Not knowing would bloom or ruin in weed
Would love bring tears or sunshine in the rain
Since that day we began there is no time
For things of little worth. While we two live
Together, apart, our hearts’ love will give
Peace to me, peace to you. Is that a crime;
Awakening your flower before I fall
And beg you to forgive; love me again
For in your beauty I give you my all
The crazy-assed poet writing his rhyme
Hoping words reflect into you soul’s need
If my thoughts and actions of love succeed
Then may I rest within your arms sublime
