Form: Blues Sonnet
They’re digging the roads up again
The traffic in chaos again
They’re bumper-to-bumper, such pain
Commuting to work for the pay
Nerve-wracking is it worth the pay
With stop and go, then a delay
A diversion, a slight detour
They’re lost in the traffic detour
Another road closed, and still more
Frustrated at being late home
Still they ask why I work from home
Yet I am the one free to roam
I made a choice and chose my health
For health matters, far more than wealth
