A Meeting

A Meeting

When lust meets love within a kiss
That sweet hello leading to bliss
And lust yearns for the sensual touch
As love lingers wanting too much
At first, it seemed short and fleeting
As if just a simple greeting
Too fast but then moving slower
Desire’s flames were burning lower
Love and lust as one must combine
In tangled limbs as souls entwine
Each gasping breath pulling them in
The wondrous love some call a sin
In passion it grows stronger still
As lust yields to the wanton thrill
