The innocent soul dressed in night and snow
With wings that will never touch a blue sky
Yet beneath the oceanic waves they fly
The questioning faces always need to know
With a tilt of the head that asks just why
As they huddle against the bitter cold
The tailored gentleman is left to hold
New life on his feet as winter goes by
The penguin gent must be so brave and bold
While his lady flies her quest out at sea
For fish to feed the new life soon to be
So long away from the family fold
When she returns she is hoping to see
The newborn child she left to be set free
