Our day has come to love beyond the night
To ride our wave against the world of fear
Give me your hand and let me draw you near
My love, come join me on the wingless flight
And destruction may be the way ahead
My arms embrace will hold you ever close
Protect you from the words that presuppose
Our love will not last long enough to wed
We will prove them all wrong I promise you
Their closed minds can’t understand you and me
They do not see the precious things we see
Only eyes of love can see the ways so true
As darker whispers set us to run free
So, hold me tight, my love, so we can be
